ELS students have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in student life at the private California Lutheran University. The university provides a challenging academic environment with 37 undergraduate majors and several master's degree and doctoral programs. The University also offers a Graduate Pathway Program - MBA, which allows you to earn graduate credits in business while improving your English language skills.
Upon successful completion of ELS Level 112, you will fulfill the English language entry requirement for conditional admission to California Lutheran University, as well as additional nearby partner colleges and universities.

Through our Undergraduate programs, we offer 41 Majors and 43 Minors. CLU's highly regarded Graduate programs include Master's degrees in Business (MBA), Information Technology, Economics, Education, Psychology and Public Policy and Administration.
Located between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara in one of the safest cities in the U.S., CLU's main campus in Thousand Oaks is complemented by two satellite locations in nearby Woodland Hills and Oxnard. Housing
The city of Thousand Oaks is ranked by the FBI as one of the safest cities in the United States. It is one hour from Los Angeles, 30 minutes from the beaches, and has a perfect climate. All aspects of the quality of life are superb. All of these things result in an extremely safe and desirable, but somewhat expensive community. Master's candidates are eligible for residence suites, while bachelor's candidates live in campus residence halls.

Student life
CLU is a full-service campus with many intellectual, professional, cultural and social activities. All students have access to the Campus Career Center (to help with internships and jobs), a Writing Center (for domestic and International students), many Computer Labs, a Health Services Center and numerous clubs of many types. Student life includes lectures, seminars, musical activities, festivals and sports. The campus is comprised of more than 90 hectares in a park-like setting with year-round flowers, trees and other plants, and the famous beaches of Southern California are less than 30 minutes away.
